Come and join us
VMCH currently has over 620 volunteers who contribute significantly to supporting and enhancing the experiences and opportunities offered to the people we support.
Volunteers enable VMCH to provide a variety of lifestyle activities, support and social inclusion.
Our volunteers are a diverse group of people of all ages, cultural and spiritual backgrounds who provide their own special skills. Whether it’s social visits, arts and crafts, music, education, transport, administration, op shop customer service or support with one-off events – the possibilities are endless. We would love to have you join us and help make a positive difference to the lives of others.
People choose to volunteer with us for a variety of reasons, including:
- Sharing their talents or specific interest
- Connecting with marginalised people in our community
- Meeting interesting and like-minded people
- Enhancing their skills in readiness for the workforce
Our volunteers come from diverse backgrounds and are aged between 12 and 100! They include students, retirees, part-time workers and people from local parishes. We feel everyone has something to offer.
